One Times Square, a 118-year-old building and once the headquarters of the New York Times, will be modernized to a 21st century visitor center for New York City. The new building will feature a viewing deck, providing visitors an elevated view of Times Square and a closer look at the New Year's Eve Ball, as well as a museum experience that will tell the story of the building, New Year's Eve celebration, and its place in the history of Times Square. One Times Square will also connect visitors to their favorite brands through immersive, technology-enabled activations across 12 floors, including digital, virtual, and augmented reality experiences. For the first time in decades, the public can experience the home of the New Year's Eve Ball in a more meaningful way.
