Launched in August 2022, the Concrete Jungle AR app introduces large-scale augmented reality to audiences from around the world live in Times Square. The flora and fauna of five distinct animal worlds- Insects, Reptiles, Birds, Jungle, and Savanna-all come to life on the plazas of Times Square, enhancing the surrounding buildings, signage, and people of the live environment with digital content.
On their mobile devices, visitors can marvel at supersized animals, play virtual games to interact with their live surroundings, collect badges, and even select their own AR animal companion for a photo op. Learn more or download the app here to get started.
While the redevelopment of One Times Square is underway, the Concrete Jungle AR app serves as a prelude to the technology-driven experiences that will be featured in the building when it opens its doors.
